About me:
Hello everyone. I'm Ethan Kimber. I’m a junior level and combat game designer who finished up a degree in game design at the Academy of Art University in SF as of December 2023. My Major is Game Design, where I figure out ideas for the game, like how a level looks and layout, how a game mechanic will function, the flow of the combat, or what story will be told in the gameplay. I've loved playing games for all of my life and I'm now looking forward to opportunities to use my skills and experience in studios ranging from indie to AAA. After finding opportunities and working in the industry for a few years, I want to get into indie game development and create an indie game studio.

I was born and raised in Central California. Outside of game development and video games in general, my interests include fine art, cosplay making, 3D printing, Dungeons & Dragons, and cooking. I always try to balance both my work and my interests so I have time for both and keep myself motivated and inspired in my game design work.

Currently been an esports player for the school’s valorant team, ArtU Diamond. I have been an esports player for the school’s overwatch and valorant team called ArtU Ruby and Obsidian. Participated in the esports and board game club
