GAME DESCRIPTION

Keito is a cat yarn-based physics puzzle game that mixes miniature golf, suika game, and billiards. You drop yarn balls from above and bounce them to the bored cat below to delight them with colorful yarn! Combine yarn balls of the same color to earn more points. The goal of this game is to reach the target score as quickly as you can. This game is being developed by one of the teams in P[1] Games for over a year now and has 33 artists, game designers, programmers, marketers, and producers throughout its making.  My role at first was Game Designer, where I helped remake the tutorial level and designed concepts for new yarn ball types. But my role has changed to lead Game Designer, where I run the whole team meetings, decide on tasks for everyone, develop a timeline game in order to release on Steam, make decisions for the game, and help out when they need it.

  • Redesigned tutorial to better show what the game is to the player and make it more interactive

  • Designed new yarn ball effects for the game, like anti-gravity, rocket, and phase shift

  • Leadership duties for the team: hosting and leading team meetings, representing the team in P[1] Game meetings, deciding tasks for teammates, developing game timeline for release on steam, helping out when teammates need it, and representing the team in events or meetings with influencers.
